PhotoSync 3.1 for Android released
Hamburg, Germany – August 10, 2016 – touchbyte today is proud to announce the release of PhotoSync 3.1 for Android – a major upgrade to the most versatile and powerful app to transfer, backup and share photos & videos over the air.
PhotoSync 3.1 for Android includes over 100 new features and introduces support for NAS devices, as well as cloud- and photo-services. It also features the highly customizable Autotransfer feature for secure and automatic backup of photos & videos in the background.
Introduced in February 2011 and used by over a million photographers, PhotoSync is a long time favorite amongst smartphone & tablet users to backup and transfer their photos & videos.
Today’s update adds even more power and flexibility to an already versatile product. PhotoSync for Android now supports the protocols SMB, SFTP, FTP and WebDAV to transfer to NAS devices, ownCloud and remote severs. It also adds support for popular cloud- and photo-services like Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, Google Photos/Picasa, Amazon Cloud Drive, Flickr and SmugMug.
PhotoSync’s Autotransfer feature backups all new photos & videos to a predefined target automatically in the background. It can be triggered by connecting to a predefined Wi-Fi network, when charging the device, based on a time schedule, by arriving at a defined location or immediately, when a new photo/video is taken.
