PhotoSync Companion 1.6.1 for Windows released

  • New Added a setting in preferences to set the name of the PhotoSync Companion 'device' manually to use another name than the computer name, e.g. 'Jaynes PhotoSync'.
  • New Upload of photos by date is not longer done by comparing the file date. PhotoSync Companion now uses the EXIF date of the photos instead and only uses the file date if the pictures don't have an EXIF date.
  • New Added an updated security certificate to PhotoSync Companion. The 'old' certificate expires on September, 17.
  • Bug fix: 'Saved Photos' is now the default selected album for photo uploads. 
  • Bug fix: The update check window is no longer a modal window blocking all actions e.g. on Computer startup
